EDITING AND RETOUCHING:  Here is the difference. I shoot the session and EDIT each individual photo by adjusting the color and darkening  and lighting  areas on each and every photographs. Look at my photos on my website.  You can see a difference between my work and other photographers.   This is included. 

RETOUCHING Skin Retouching is included in all portrait packages. I remove blemishes, whiten teeth and red areas of the eyes, lines under eyes softened, some stray hairs but you won't have "helmet head". This also includes some bug bites, scars and some tan lines.  It also includes marks on arms where the seniors play sports like football and get their arms tore up.    

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED  Dark hair roots, fingernails, tattoos, facial hair, most clothing fixes, body reshaping. 

 If your clothes are a wrinkled mess? White shoes have a ton of stains on them? That's exactly what your gonna get. Clean your shoes. Fix your nails. Shave or wax any hair you don't want to see. For instance nose hairs, back of a male's neck, or underarm stubble. GET YOUR UNDERARMS WAXED 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE AND WEAR INVISIBLE DEODORANT!   Self tanner looks splotchy on the body even the best applications. Be super careful on hands feet and elbows. If you need a recommendation for someone to do a self tanning spray. I know a lady who is great at it. 

  I see a lot of photographers edit or reshape peoples bodies to make them look skinnier.  They lie to the customer and tell them they didn't so the customer thinks the photographer is just a pure genius.

 Have you seen other peoples photos and wonder how in the world did they make that person look like that?  There is no hocus pocus magic poses that make you look thinner.  It is Photoshop, pure and simple.  The only time I will photoshop a customer's body is when they specifically ask me before we shoot.    Reshaping a body to make some body parts "bigger" and other things  "smaller" offends people sometimes and other instances people assume that it should be done. So you have to verbally tell me BEFORE we shoot. 

Makeup Recommendation

 If you have blemishes on your face and you don't want to see your blemishes?  I highly recommend wearing makeup to cover it. Even if retouching is included.   Some people want to look "natural". That's all well and good but what is natural?  No push up?  No Lashes?  No painted nails?  No hair color change? 

"Dewy" makeup is SWEATY.   If you intentionally wear dewy makeup it will not be fixed for free.  Matte makeup is the best. No one wants to look sweaty.

 I will match your effort.  I want to make great images every day all day.   To get the best possible images I will match your effort.  If you show up with all your clothes wrinkled and rolled up in a bag?  I will not retouch and fix all your wrinkles in your uniforms and clothes.
